If you’ve deleted some files from your project without using
git rm you will see those files come up like this when you run
# deleted: file1.txt # deleted: file2.txt # deleted: file3.txt # deleted: file4.txt
If you run
git add . these files won’t be put into the staging area to be marked as deleted on the next commit. If you want to stage these deletions run this command:
git add -u
