How to Clear History, Cookies, Cache in Firefox

I’ll show you you how to clear out private information (history, cookies, cache, etc) in Firefox for both Mac and PC.


What I was using…
Firefox Version: 10
  1. Select Firefox > Preferences

    2. Click “clear your recent history”.


    3.  Expand “Details” if necessary.  Choose which items you want to be cleared.  Note that Firefox will not clear all item by default.  To clear all items select Time range to clear: Everything.



What I was using…
Version: 10.0
OS: Windows XP
  1.  Select Tools > Clear recent history…
  2. Click the down area next to Details to choose what information to delete.
  3. Make sure that Time range to clear is set to Everything if you want to clear all history.
